Brawn & Brains Coffee - 16 Hamilton Rd

Coffee here is two shots by default with option of beans. I went with their house blend and had a hot Latte that was smooth. It's chocolatey with a full-bodied coffee taste taht has a slight bitter aftertaste. The Chocolate Banana Teacake was a great accompaniment. It had a delightful pairing of chocolate and banana, sweetness was light and just nice, and crumbly and moist.

I visited the Brawn and Brains Hamilton Branch this afternoon for my Sunday brunch. It was my first time here, as I usually frequent their East Coast branch. To start, I had the mentaiko curly fries. The flavor was fantastic—not too heavy—with mentaiko sauce topped with seaweed and sesame seeds, making it a perfect beginning to the meal. I then ordered their signature baked molten egg. It was so enticing that I dug in as soon as it arrived, hence, I didn’t manage to snap a photo. But trust that it lives up to its reputation! Next, I had the Masala Chicken Taco, a dish I had previously enjoyed at their East Coast branch. The chicken was perfectly spiced with a slight kick of heat, wrapped in a crisp taco shell. The papadum retained its crunch even after being left out for a while and was fried to perfection. I also tried their recommended favorite, the chicken avocado sando. The combination of chicken and avocado was excellent, but what really elevated the sando was the nicely toasted house-made brioche bun. For drinks, I have previously enjoyed their iced chocolate, iced mocha, and iced white, all consistently great. This time, I decided to try something new and opted for the slightly indulgent BnB Kopi Shake, which turned out to be a delightful treat. Highly recommend Brawn and Brains for a great brunch if you're in the area!

Loved the molten eggs dish. But it’s a little too heavy and too much, even as sharing dish. Maybe it was because we had the donut and tea cake as well. Solid coffee though. However, there’s not much ambience here.

Had their white coffee and tangy tomato soup for breakfast. Both were real tasty and fresh. Their interior is pretty simple but yet modern. Liked their vibe very much. A hidden gem in hamilton road, singapore.

Seems like a new place and a welcome addition to coffee spots in the vicinity. They have a large spacious cafe with ample seating to offer. Ordered a cafe latte each, one with the house blend and another with the second beans on offer. Small cups but well made coffee. They have nice cakes and bakery products on display too. A tad expensive for the quantity of coffee served with a 3 coffees and an orange juice costing SGD 30. Definitely recommend the spot though.

Exceptional coffee and absolutely gorgeous yummy food!! Made us want to wiggle Love our speciality coffee and this place is such a hidden gem! There is a wide range of gorgeous cakes (baked in-house) which we could have so easily devoured had we not already wolfed down our delicious smoked salmon and avocado sandwiches - topped with sesame seeds - and served with the crispiest, non-greasy, fluffy fries! The oat milk Whites we had were single-origin Brazilian and was made with such care. Music was classy and chilled jazz so the ambience was perfect for us. Cannot fault this wonderful place and so lucky to be staying across the road from it on our trip to Singapore! 10/10.

The beverage was delicious — a layered blend of sweet strawberry compote, creamy milk and grassy matcha, with ice adding a refreshing chill. The balance of fruity sweetness and gentle matcha bitterness made it a very enjoyable drink. ???? Service : ???? During my short visit, the lone staff at the counter was a young lady --- and she was really cheerful, pleasant and polite. ???? My takeaway drink was crafted speedily and the next time round, I would want to try their lemon drizzle butter pound cake. Overall, I must say it's a cosy cafe with a soothing ambience.
